Activated in June 2013, the 419th Contracting Support Brigade located at Fort Bragg, N.C., enhances installation and operational contracting support to Army commands. Subordinate to the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, it provides core customer service through strategically aligned support to commands and installations.

The brigade is made up of more than 400 Military and Civilian personnel, six Battalion Commanders/Directors and 17 Contracting Teams at six offices. Those include the 900th Contracting Battalion at Fort Bragg; 904th CBn at Fort Stewart, Ga.; 922nd CBn at Fort Campbell, Ky.; 925th CBn at Fort Drum, N.Y.; Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Polk, La.; and Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Belvoir, Va.

Aligned under the battalions are the contingency contracting and senior contingency contracting teams. Training and accomplishing contracting operations alongside MICC civilian contracting members day to day, these teams are also called upon to perform contracting in a contingency environment including military and stability operations as well as natural disasters and humanitarian events.
