The MICC-Fort Bliss staff services more than 35,000 servicemembers and families and 55,000 DOD and civilian contractors stationed and working on both Fort Bliss and White Sands Missile Range.
Located in and around El Paso, Texas, Fort Bliss is the second largest installation in the Army at more than 17,000 square miles, second only to White Sands Missile Range at 32,000 square miles. Fort Bliss is the home to the 1st Armored Division, the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, the Brigade Modernization Command, and United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.
White Sands Missile Range is the home of the White Sands Test Center, which plans and conducts a myriad of tests and evaluations through full spectrum operations utilizing joint weapons systems up to and including those that can only be tested at this unique location. Fort Bliss is also the home to Network Integration Evaluation and Army Warfighter Assessment.
